Luther Tate
Teaching Elder/Pastor
Luther is grateful to serve the church where he was raised, Dundalk Presbyterian Church. He and his wife, Stephanie, have been blessed with two boys, and Luther often shares that it was through Stephanie’s faithful evangelism that he came to know and serve the Lord.
After high school, Luther served with Trinity Christian Community in New Orleans and later participated in overseas missions through Youth With A Mission. From 2012–2019, he returned to serve here at Dundalk Pres. as Youth Director.
Luther earned his undergraduate degree from Liberty University and completed his Master of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary Orlando. His ministry passions include preaching, teaching, and discipleship, with particular interests in ecclesiology, the Christian life, and the Westminster Standards.
When he is not studying or serving the church, Luther enjoys cheering on the Baltimore Ravens, brewing a good cup of coffee, and spending time in the kitchen cooking for family and friends.
